Marinated in a southeast Asian marinade Consisting of garlic, ginger, black bean paste called Douchi, And fermented chili paste called Gochujang. The marinade gives it a sweet earthy flavor. It’s then battered with potato starch and deep fried.

🍸 Gavin has been with 2nd Language from the very beginning, and he's had a strong interest in cocktails for much longer than that. His passion for developing his skills behind the bar can be seen in all of the drinks he creates. For example, he recently perfected the clarification process, and has featured multiple clarified cocktails on our menu! His favorite drink? A clarified Jungle Bird. His favorite food item on the menu? The Ahi Tuna! He also loves the Pancetta at Pangea Kitchen and the French Kiss at Pangea Pizzeria.

🥢 Every bowl of ramen is served with 5 components, and one of those is soup, or stock made from proteins, fish, vegetables, or miso created over long cooking periods. At 2nd Language, our ramen is made with 3 different housemade soups to choose from:

𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐤𝐨𝐭𝐬𝐮 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐩: strongest flavor and creaminess, made from pork bone broth.
𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐩: creamy, white, and made with chicken bones.
𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐩: clear soup made by cooking a variety of vegetables into stock.

🍸 Heaven might taste like a London Calling. It’s crafted with Plantation 3-Stars, a white rum blend that we infuse with Earl Grey tea for an earthy note with hints of ripened fruit. We add Oloroso Sherry wine for a touch of nuttiness. All of these flavors together compliment the sweetness of the housemade vanilla bean syrup. There’s cherry bark vanilla bitters in there, too. Finally, we add a little lemon to brighten it up and aid in the clarification process, which gives us a flavorful, clear, silky smooth, well-balanced cocktail.
